Mod Podge Obsession

Yes, I have Mod Podge. And I'm not afraid to use it.

I've recently discovered this little gem (HOW DID I NOT KNOW ABOUT IT BEFORE), and lord help me, I'll Mod Podge my kids if they get in the way.

One of my favorite sites to get ideas from isAshley at Make It and Love It. That girl has mad Mod Podge skills.

This last week, one of my friends celebrated a birthday and I decided to incorporate one of Ashley's Mod Podge ideas - fabric covered clips. The finished product was so very cute. I can't wait to finish the pictures and post the project for you as part of my new series 'Handmade Gifts Under $10'.

You read that right people. Adorable handmade items (that don't take a lot of time either) for under a 10 spot! I'm giddy just thinking about it! In the meantime, go check out this awesome blog and get to know Ashley.

Happy crafting!

Teacher Appreciation Subway Art (FREE)

The super crafty gals at Eighteen25 have created this Subway Art for teacher Appreciation Week next week. Print it out (Costco has the best everyday price on enlargements), add a colorful wooden frame  - found cheaply at dollar stores or Wal-mart(repainted or not), and you've got a super sweet gift for a super sweet teacher...or two! And a big special thank you for all the teachers I know or those who influenced me growing up. You are appreciated more than you will ever know! XOXO

Well....Hello Strangers!

The past almost 2 years have been, well, CRAZY. I have welcomed a new member into our family, a little boy born this last December (Isn't he to-die-for adorable?) And I thought girls were fun! This little man has captured something in my heart I didn't know even existed. I'll spare you the boring details, but he is truly a miracle baby, and I feel so blessed and complete. And now I have an excuse to make boy stuff. Yay!

The store has gone through some changes, namely the addition of some adorable new items! And you would not believe the stuff in the works.

My biggest change is this blog. It began as a way to get my business name out there, which it still will, but now will be used to highlight other businesses, blogs and a little craft instruction. It's time to have fun people!
